I am in my third day with the new Dell and Windows Vista. From all of the media, I knew that Vista was bad. But I didn't realize how bad it really was. I don't think I add anything that hasn't been posted before.
Now you might wonder why I didn't wait for Windows 7 and went ahead with Vista. The answer is necessity. The Ubuntu experiment wasn't working and I needed to use some programs that only run on XP. I tried running XP virtually, but the performance was just not good enough. So, here I am stuck with a piece of crap OS. The word on the street is that Windows 7 fixes most of Vistas problems and I get a free upgrade when it comes out. Only a couple of more weeks!
